Inside a visit
Enrichment is a word that gets used a great deal and explained almost never. Here is the real answer, and the framework underneath it.
Some days it's a trail of smells down the sidewalk, followed at your dog's pace instead of ours. Other days it's treats hidden in the grass to hunt out, a low wall to balance along, a puzzle to work through, or ten quiet minutes of settling in the shade because that's the harder skill for your dog.
Your specialist also reinforces what you're working on at home. Sit at the curb. Loose leash past the dog that barks. We use the words you use, so your dog isn't learning two sets of rules from two sets of people.

Most dog parents tell us they notice it inside two weeks. The dog who met you at the door wound up is lying down instead.

When you buy a set number of walks and you start counting them. Is today worth using one? Should I save it for Thursday? Unlimited means you never run that calculation.
